Christmas Guide FAQ’s

How do I place a Christmas Order?

Christmas Orders can be made by phone or by using the form at the end of the FAQ’s, please read thru FAQ’s to make sure your item can be pre-ordered. Please note that if you place an order by email, it is not complete until you have received an order number by return email. Responses may take up to a day via email link, and will be handled in the order they are received.

What if I can’t find the form?

If the form has been taken down, then we have filled all available order times. We will NOT be responding to emails on the 24th for any reason.

What items do I need to order?

Items from the takeout menu (Beach Bakes, Fish and Chips, etc), Sushi Platters, Cocktail Platters, large trays of side dishes, cooked lobsters (hot or cold) and large volume shucked or peeled orders can and should be ordered. Very large fish orders ($400+) may be taken also.

Can I order items like cooked shrimp and fresh fish?

We do not take orders for over the counter items such as cooked shrimp, fresh fish, live lobsters and premade appetizers and dips. We will have abundant stock of these items.

I am worried that if I don’t preorder my fish or shrimp that you will run out, can you hold it for me?

We are prepared for the enormous volume that the Christmas holiday brings and we are buying accordingly. Standard items like cooked and raw shrimp, fresh fish (cod, salmon swordfish, sole etc) can be purchased by coming in and ordering over the counter. This allows serving everyone in the most efficient manner possible, as the effort to prepare, find and fetch the order is significant. Most items can be bought on the 23rd for use on the 25th.

Can I reserve an item so you don’t sell out?

Some items can be reserved, please see the Christmas Items list for which items are marked for reserve.

Please note that reserve items are not guaranteed, as market conditions can preclude procurement of some items.

What time can I pick up my order?

Pickup times will be limited and scheduled on a first come first served basis. As each hours available slots are filled those times will be closed.

How do I pick up my order?

We will have a box truck dedicated to storing the orders for pickup in the back lot. Pull up in back and the order attendant will get your order. You do not need to wait in the store line if you are picking up an order. You will be given an order number when you place your order, you MUST HAVE THIS NUMBER IN ORDER TO PICK UP!!!!!

How do I pay for my order?

All orders and reserved items will require a valid credit card at the time the order is placed. A 1 cent order fee will be charged at the time you place your order to verify card information. Your card will be charged once the order is brought to the truck and ready to go.

What if I have standard items and preorder items?

We will bundle standard items with your order so you can get it all at the truck pickup. Please note we may not be able to take short notice (day of) changes to orders. If you forgot something you may need to cue to pick it up in store.

If I can’t place an order, will there be a line?

Yes!! There will be a line but it will move fast. The back door will be for exit only, and the front door will be the only entrance for the 23rd and 24th. You can still park in the back lot and cut thru the bookstore to get to the front entrance.

I can’t get thru on the phone, what do I do?

Unfortunately, you will have to keep trying. With the volume of business the phones will be tied up. Please do not email as we will not be able to respond to emails on the 24th. We will be placing updates via social media with any items that we have sold out of, so please follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
